Join Amazon's Transportation Operations team as a Remote Expert! As a Transportation Operations Expert (ROC), you'll be a critical link in ensuring the smooth flow of goods across Amazon's vast network, impacting millions of customers. From inbound shipments from sellers to outbound deliveries to fulfillment centers, you'll proactively identify and resolve issues, analyze data, and drive process improvements to optimize our transportation operations.

What you'll do

• Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams (Retail, Finance, Programming Support, Fulfillment Centers) and external partners (carriers, sellers).
• Analyze data from various databases (Excel, SQL, etc.) to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and track performance metrics to drive business results.
• Assess business and technical requirements for Amazon's transportation technology systems.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field (e.g., Engineering, Analytics) or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL or other data management systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
