Responsibilities
As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Handling a high volume of calls from customers on behalf of our client, a prominent power company, to provide customer service support and offer additional products and services.
- Assisting customers with power outage issues, making payments, creating payment plans, or starting/ending service.
- Offering customers the opportunity to purchase programs for surge protection, home wiring, and water heater repairs.
- Meeting and exceeding performance targets, including phone time, customer experience, sales, and other key metrics.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior recent experience working as an inbound customer service agent for at least one year, with a verifiable track record of success.
- Experience with upselling and cross-selling, with a proven ability to share goals and results with our interview team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Technical savvy, with the ability to easily learn and navigate multiple screens and enter data while engaging in conversation with customers.
- Time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet various program goals around phone time, customer experience, sales, and other key metrics.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background check and drug test.
- Have a dedicated office space that fosters productivity and focus.
Work Schedule
As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will work a set schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Eastern Time. Some overtime may be required during storm outages that affect our client's customers.
