Job Summary

As an experienced Retail Customer Service Cashier at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our brand, providing fast, friendly, and accurate services to our customers. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and welcoming store while ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. No experience? No problem! We'll teach you the skills you need to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs

• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs
• Additional duties may include cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles

Essential Qualifications

* Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds

• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous retail or customer service experience

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems

Skills and Competencies
