Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative/Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Working flexible shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, to meet the needs of our customers
- Maintaining displays in presentable condition at all times and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Building productive trust relationships with customers and driving sales through upselling and cross-selling
- Utilizing computer skills, including typing and computer use, to process transactions and manage customer information
- Maintaining a positive attitude at all times and being a team player
- Meeting sales targets and exceeding expectations through exceptional customer service and sales skills
- Participating in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Comfortable on the computer, with typing and computer use skills
- Highly motivated and able to pick up tasks quickly after being shown
- Positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to drive sales
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly beneficial:
- Previous experience at The UPS Store (a HUGE plus!)
- Retail experience and knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office, especially Publisher
- Certified Notary Public (Preferred)
- Experience up-selling and cross-selling, with a proven track record of driving sales and exceeding targets
