About the Role

As a Data Entry/Claims Processing Agent at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in administering the initial claims process. You'll be responsible for data entry, billing, payment demand creation, and inbound/outbound calls for insurance verification. Your primary goal will be to deliver superior client service, ensuring that our clients receive prompt, accurate, and courteous communication throughout the claims process.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers by returning phone calls and acknowledging correspondence in a timely manner.

  • Effectively and accurately enter data on all new claim submissions to our company database system and provide confirmation to clients as needed.
  • Review and investigate documentation on facts of loss, collection potential, and other relevant information.
  • Communicate with clients for additional documentation upon receipt of new claims.
  • Verify accident details with various reporting agencies, obtain police reports, and conduct skip tracing as needed.
  • Conduct initial calls to report claims to insurance companies and confirm coverage, as well as contact involved parties to confirm damages and verify insurance policy information.
  • Document clearly and concisely all relevant activity on all files and make recommendations for additional activity as appropriate.
  • Communicate and escalate claims with a high degree of difficulty to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field, such as data entry, billing, insurance claims, or accounts receivable.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficient in data entry skills and/or typing skills, with a minimum of 40 wpm.
  • General office skills, computer proficiency, and basic math skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage own time and coordinate various tasks simultaneously.
  • Active listening skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional when speaking with difficult callers.
  • Be well organized and detailed oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a positive, friendly attitude, with a strong commitment to customer service.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in Salesforce.

  • Experience with data entry software and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach problems in a logical and methodical manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
