Job Summary

We're seeking experienced full stack data engineers to help advance and develop our distributed systems and cloud application development capabilities. As a data engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain scalable, distributed data systems and cloud applications

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
• Work with open-source technologies and contribute to arenaflex's OSS projects
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of data engineering projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data engineering issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Focus Areas

* Data Set Access Stage: We're building a flexible query interface that enables data exploration at sub-millisecond latencies, while allowing Netflix microservices to store, consume, and manage their data more efficiently.

• Data Stage Foundation: Our common framework and tooling enable arenaflex to rapidly develop and deploy cutting-edge data and analytics platforms without building custom solutions for each new project.
• Data Development and Handling: We offer a self-service, cloud-native platform for data development and handling, empowering diverse client personas across arenaflex to meet their low-latency data needs.
• Big Data Figure: We're responsible for providing a cloud-native platform for distributed data processing at arenaflex, offering support for Flash, Presto/Trino, Druid, and other big data technologies.
• Big Data Arrangement: We offer a platform for planning, organizing, and executing big data jobs and workflows in a self-serve manner, using essential services that run ETL and ML jobs on arenaflex's big data frameworks.

• Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Ability to handle multi-threading and concurrency
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
