Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for transporting refrigerated goods safely and efficiently to various locations across the country. You will closely monitor the temperature control of your loads, ensuring the quality of the transported goods.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
– Minimum of 2 years verifiable experience operating a tractor-trailer
– Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
– No recent moving or driving violations
– Ability to operate electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.)
– Adaptable to driving in adverse weather conditions
Responsibilities:
– Transport refrigerated goods to different locations
– Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
– Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
– Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking)
– Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
– Collect and verify delivery instructions
– Report defects, accidents or violations.

Educational Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Valid CDL Class A license
Experience:
– 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
