Job Summary: As a Dental Hygiene Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching classes, preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, and maintaining a conducive learning environment. You will also serve as a professional and academic role model, providing guidance, support, and feedback to students to ensure their success. Additionally, you will participate in faculty and professional development activities, stay current with industry trends and standards, and contribute to the growth and development of our dental hygiene program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct classes, prepare lesson plans, and assess student performance
• Maintain a conducive learning environment, provide feedback, and support student success
• Participate in faculty and professional development activities, stay current with industry trends and standards
• Contribute to the growth and development of our dental hygiene program
• Collaborate with colleagues, maintain accurate records, and enforce campus policies

Requirements:

• Graduate of a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
• Associate degree in Dental Hygiene required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current dental hygiene license, minimum of four years' clinical experience as a hygienist
• Current CPR card issued by AHA, prior teaching experience preferred
• Documented background in educational methodology, current knowledge of specific subject being taught
