Job Summary:

• Teach high school science classes, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance student outcomes
• Participate in staff development and professional growth activities, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Valid teaching certification in General Science (034) for grades 7-12
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods, and best practices in science education
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse student populations
